In order to prevent unwanted gifts and to help ease ministry expenses, we have changed our Love Gift policy. Previously, recurring donors and Ambassador Club members received a Love Gift automatically each month in which a donation was given; however, this reduced the effectiveness of the donation because a portion of it was being used to cover the cost of a love gift and mailing expenses. Not to mention, the cost of the gift must be deducted from the tax receipt value of the donation, according to IRS rules.
We want to make the most of these donations to help spread the Gospel of the Kingdom, so Love Gifts will no longer be sent automatically in these cases. Instead, effective immediately, Love Gifts will only be sent when specifically requested with a separate donation through our Love Gift page on the A Rood Awakening!
