Even creation itself was fashioned as a living temple, filled with His glory. But without His presence, a temple is lifeless - just as we are when His Spirit does not dwell within us.
In this special Hanukkah teaching, Matthew Vander Els reminds us that we were made to be YeHoVaH's dwelling place. To defile that temple, our very bodies and spirits, is to reject the purpose of creation itself: a means for the Almighty to dwell with his people in holiness.
